2016 SGIA Expo Among 50 Fastest-Growing Trade Shows of 2016

Trade Show Executive (TSE), a publication covering the trade show industry, has named the 2016 SGIA Expo (Las Vegas, September 14–16) to its roster of 50 Fastest-Growing Shows by Net Square Feet of Exhibit Space.

 

“The TSE Fastest 50 lists some of the most innovative expositions in the country. It’s an honor to be considered among them,” said SGIA President and CEO Ford Bowers.

“The TSE Fastest 50 lists some of the most innovative expositions in the country. It’s an honor to be considered among them,” said SGIA President and CEO Ford Bowers.

 

According to TSE, the average trade show in 2016 grew 2.4 percent in net square feet of exhibit space, 2.1 percent in number of exhibiting companies and 1.1 percent in attendance.

 

With 272,700 net square feet of exhibit space — a 12.9 percent increase over 2015 — the 2016 SGIA Expo was also notable as the largest show floor in the Expo’s history. It attracted 562 exhibiting companies and more than 24,000 registered participants.
