Veronica Anderson
Owner, Okie Print Barn
Mustang, OK
“WE’RE YOUR GO-TO, get ‘er done, hassle-free, local Okie apparel experts.” That’s the company motto of this down-South, state-of-the-art screen-printing business. And it’s a perfect description of Veronica Anderson’s successful shop that offers screen printing, embroidery, event apparel, and promotions.
Okie Print Barn began with a Christmas morning present and the entrepreneurial spirit of one couple. After opening her gift of a new vinyl cutter, Veronica couldn’t wait to get started creating art on apparel. And she did just that. Armed with a graphic design degree from college, her shiny, new piece of equipment, and her trusty Mac computer, she built a thriving business making custom tees.
From there, jumping with both feet into screen printing was the next logical step. As she learned the industry, she improved processes to make deliverables faster, better, and more economical for her clients. The company’s state-of-the-art equipment and skilled technicians, combined with an in-house art department, makes Okie Print Barn the area’s favored choice for quality, value, and dependability.
Over the years, Veronica has developed a team and company that continually grows. She is dedicated to bringing value to her customers and helping smaller companies reach their potential by being a great source of knowledge and offering services to help set them apart from their competition. Devoted to her customers and fellow leaders in the industry, she continually is growing and seeking ways to better herself, the community, and her craft.

Veronica has 15 years of graphic design experience and eight years as a business owner. She was a teen for six of those years, having made the switch from creating designs using vinyl, to a garage shop, to owning an automatic press. She now is moving her company into a larger space to accommodate more auto presses and heavily getting into contract printing.
Q: Here are some examples of her community involvement:
Veronica continues to grow her social media presence and influence screen printers through specific groups and other endeavors. She has taught several design classes at local schools with the emphasis on screen printing.
She is a busy community leader as well. Veronica is part of three local Chambers of Commerce, and currently is working on becoming a member of the OKC Women in Business. This organization’s mission is to bring women in business together across the Oklahoma City metro area to cultivate community, build business, and grow together in success. It is a space dedicated to empowering women to thrive in their business endeavors through collaboration, networking, and educational opportunities. Veronica thrives on the group’s learning opportunities that are available from leadership and entrepreneurship to marketing and finance.
Q: How does her work push the industry forward?
Veronica is no newcomer to receiving industry accolades. She received Screen Printing magazine’s Rising Star Award in 2021 for her quick rise to success and giving back to her community and empowering her employees. She strives to share her knowledge and expertise with other women-owned screen-printing shops. By continually learning and growing, Veronica has pushed herself to the top and isn’t showing any signs of slowing down. She uses her knowledge, expertise, and experience to educate and pass on her secrets of success to a younger generation of female screen printers.
