DPM Aply 1000, the newest addition to FLEXcon’s DPM product line, is designed for bubble-free brand-identification labels and safety/hazard/instruction labels required for outdoor power equipment and other durable-goods applications. DPM Aply 1000 offers outdoor durability of up to five years. FLEXcon says DPM Aply 1000 has a rigidity that makes application fast and easy, a surface smoothness for optimum label graphics, and a greater ability to rework the label when compared with other commonly used product offerings. DPM Aply is conformable for both flat and semi-compound-curved surfaces, with pending recognition from UL and CUL. The adhesive is formulated to bond well to low- and high-surface-energy plastics, painted metal, powder-coated paint, polycarbonate, and fiberglass. DPM Aply 1000 is backed with a liner suitable for roll-to-sheet and sheet-form converting.
