Spectra-Coat systems can be set up with one to three separate UV tanks and pumps for coatings and wash. They run up to one-quarter inch thick substrates, with an option of running up to one-inch substrates. These economical coaters feature a 3-roll roller coating system, and a closed loop recirculation system that reduces the chance of cross contamination of coatings. An easily removable applicator allows printers to convert quickly between aqueous and UV coating capabilities.

Since 1960, American Ultraviolet has manufactured tens of thousands of high-quality, economical, American-made, ultraviolet coating and curing systems for use throughout the world. American Ultraviolet is headquartered in Lebanon, Indiana. Spectra-Coat UV Coaters are manufactured in Torrance, California. Additional sales offices are located in Hackettstown, New Jersey; Frederick, MD; and Woodstock, GA.
