Burning garments can really scorch your bottom line. The Auto Flash from Vastex (model R-18-120-AF) is designed to speed production by moving the flash head in and out of position at the touch of a foot pedal. The system is equipped with a gear motor that drives an eccentric arm to provide a robotic motion. Standard features include 0-30-sec timer to set process time over the platen, a power switch with indicator light, height adjustability, head-leveling bolt to adjust the heater parallel to the press platen, 2.75-in. (69.8-mm) head height, and head rotation of 110º. An optional whisker switch will be available to automatically move the flash into position each time the platen indexes.
