Avery Dennison Appoints New Graphics Solutions Marketing Leadership

Avery Dennison today announced it has appointed Roxanne McSpadden as marketing director, Graphics for Materials Group North America.

 

Avery Dennison today announced it has appointed Roxanne McSpadden as marketing director, Graphics for Materials Group North America.

 

Roxanne will lead the product innovation and management team for digital and screen & cut media, manage the technical team as well as channel programs for the Graphics Solutions business segment.

Roxanne will report to Shelley Woods Whiting, who was recently appointed as vice president marketing, Materials Group North America. In her new role, Whiting will lead the marketing organization and oversee development and implementation of commercial strategy for two business segments: Label and Packaging Materials and Graphics Solutions.

 

“Roxanne and Shelley both bring exceptional expertise, experience and perspective,” said Darrell Hughes, vice president and general manager, Avery Dennison Materials Group North America. “They will be strong leaders in helping our channel partners and customers in the graphics media industry grow.”

 

McSpadden was previously director of global marketing at Graphics Packaging International, in Atlanta, Ga., where she held various marketing leadership roles for the last nine years. Her experience also includes roles in packaging and graphics at DS Waters and The Coca-Cola Company. McSpadden received her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and MBA from Georgia State University.

Whiting comes to Avery Dennison from Georgia-Pacific Chemicals where she served as director of marketing, Commercial Development & Sustainability since 2008. She also has held business management and marketing positions with DuPont and FMC. She holds a bachelor of science in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University and an MBA from the University of Michigan.

 

McSpadden and Whiting will both be based in Mentor, Ohio.
