Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions announced today the addition of four new custom car wrap colors to the Supreme Wrapping Film™ portfolio.

Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions announced today the addition of four new custom car wrap colors to the Supreme Wrapping Film™ portfolio. Internationally recognized professional graphics installer, Justin Pate, teamed with Avery Dennison to create “The Limited Edition Justin Pate Supreme Wrapping Film™ Series.”

The limited edition series includes: Gloss Metallic Milky Way, Gloss Metallic Meteorite, Pearl Black and Pearl Bahama Blue. All four colors feature multidimensional finishes, with metallic flakes that reflect different colors.

“The opportunity to be creative and collaborate on new colors and finishes, especially with Avery Dennison, is an installer’s dream,” said Pate, creator of The Wrap Institute. “Our goal was to hit that intangible point of excitement that certain vinyl film colors and finishes can achieve, that makes wrapping cars extra special.”

Pate has worked closely with Avery Dennison for many years, teaching and administering wrap classes and certification tests, performing demonstrations at trade shows and producing some of the most unique projects ever wrapped in Avery Dennison films.

"Through our work with Justin Pate, Avery Dennison has reached thousands of wrap installers and enhanced our reputation for high quality wrap films," said Roxanne McSpadden, marketing director, Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions. "Collaborating with Justin on his vision for new colors of Supreme Wrapping Film was the next step in the evolution of our relationship. These colors are unique and visually stunning.”

Pate found inspiration for the line from the night sky and the ocean. Gloss Metallic Milky Way is an homage to the stars on a cool, moonless night, making it the perfect color for a full wrap or a roof accent. Gloss Metallic Meteorite is a crisp shade of gray with sparkles, creating high-end style with bling on the side. Pearl Black has a mysterious depth to it, resembling the Monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey, and Pearl Bahama Blue looks like the ocean on a perfect sunny day.

The Limited Edition Justin Pate Supreme Wrapping Film™ Series is one of Avery Dennison’s first branded collections of custom car wraps. All films in the series feature Avery Dennison’s patented Easy Apply RS™ adhesive technology, with excellent conformability around curves and recesses. They have exceptional performance and provide a colored film and a protective layer in a convenient, one-piece construction.

“The heavy metallic flake of Gloss Metallic Milky Way and Gloss Metallic Meteorite adds so much depth to the colors,” said Sean Tomlin, president of Designer Wraps. “And Pearl Black and Pearl Bahama Blue are two incredible additions to the Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film portfolio. Installers have been waiting a long time for colors like these.”

“I’ve been working with Avery Dennison and Justin Pate for many years, so it’s great to see him recognized with his own set of Supreme Wrapping Film colors,” said Jim Miller, owner of Miller Decals. “These colors fill a void in the market. I can’t wait to use them, and neither can my customers.”

The new colors are available in 60” x 25 yd. and 60” x 5 yd. roll sizes, which allow installers to wrap the hood and sides of a vehicle without seams.
