Drytac designed its BlackTac pressure-sensitive adhesive to mount new graphics over old graphics with no show-through. The company says the solvent acrylic adhesive, which is coated on both sides of a white polyester carrier, saves money by allowing the reuse of mount boards without adding significant thickness to the graphic. The exposed side’s adhesive is semi-clear, while the reverse side’s opacity blocks light. BlackTac is available in 328-ft x 51-in. (100-m x 1295-mm) rolls.
