Brother Int’l Corp., Elk Grove, IL, announced its Industrial Products Division formed a coalition with other manufacturers in the textile and garment-decorating industry to provide embroidered and inkjet-printed shirts for children and camp counselors at The Foundation for Dreams’ “Dream Oaks Camp.” The camp, located in Bradenton, FL, serves the needs of children aged 7-17 who have physical and developmental disabilities and serious illnesses.

Brother Int’l, Great Dane Graphics, Delta Apparel, and the Sierra Pacific Div. of Sierra Pacifica Apparel together presented 2006 summer camp shirts to the Andrew Romines, CEO of The Foundation for Dreams. “Through their generous support of our camp programs, these industry leaders are putting their resources and values to work toward strengthening communities and improving the quality of life for our special-need campers,” Romines says.

Great Dane Graphics provided the full-color designs for the staff and campers’ shirts, and Brother Int’l provided the garment printing and embroidery for the more than 800 garments donated. Delta Apparel donated 450 T-shirts for the campers, while Sierra Pacific Shirts donated 250 golf shirts for a spring fundraising golf tournament to benefit the camp, along with 100 polar fleece pullovers and four journey jackets for the camp counselors.
