BrownDigital has launched the Vega UV-LED curing system. Modules are available in 6-in. sections and can be used to cure either digital or screen printing inks. For digital printing, the Vega units use a 395-nm LED; with screen inks, the units employ a multispectral approach using both 365- and 395-nm LEDs. The units use Linx Integration Software to control curing and link to the rest of the production line, and are available with an optional thermal activator.

The Vega modules can be supplied in complete conveyor systems in widths ranging from 18 to 36 or 42 to 72 in., with such features as job recall, variable height adjustment, crowned rollers for belt tracking, load sensor, touch-screen controls, and more. A Universal Support Module that can be mounted onto most existing curing lines is also offered.
