Canon USA Announces New Executive Leadership Appointments

Canon USA has announced the appointment of Joe Adachi as the company’s new chairman and CEO, effective April 1. Adachi has served as president and CEO of Canon USA since 2005, overseeing Canon’s operations in the Americas; he will maintain his current responsibilities as CEO.

Canon USA has announced the appointment of Joe Adachi as the company’s new chairman and CEO, effective April 1. Adachi has served as president and CEO of Canon USA since 2005, overseeing Canon’s operations in the Americas; he will maintain his current responsibilities as CEO.

The company has named Yuichi Ishizuka president and COO of Canon USA. In his new position, Ishizuka will be involved in the management of new business projects while continuing his current responsibilities as executive vice president and general manager for the company’s Imaging Technologies & Communications Group, where he oversees the inkjet printer, camera, and video groups.

"I look forward to my new assignment as president and COO of Canon USA," says Ishizuka. "Mr. Adachi has a strong vision for our company’s future and I am honored to work together with him to take Canon to the next level."
