Hotronix’s new STX Auto Cap Press has an auto-open feature that Hotronix says simplifies the process of adhering transfers to caps. The press also features magnetic lockdown assist and digital controls for time and temperature, and the unit automatically opens when the programmed dwell time elapses. It comes standard with under-center pressure adjustment, a 0.75-in. (19-mm) upper floatation heat platen, Teflon-coated heater, and cast-in tubular elements every 2 in. (51 mm). The press doesn’t require an air compressor. Hotronix notes that the press offers pin and bushing pivot joint, platinum heat probe, 0.375-in.
