A chopper squeegee system is now available on two Workhorse automatic presses that formerly were available with only a V squeegee system. The two presses are the Freedom, a pneumatic start-up automatic that is offered as a six- color machine, and the Javelin Pro, a pneumatic automatic that comes in six through 10 colors.

The chopper system was added to enhance the Freedom and Javelin machines and to bring parity and consistency across the range of Workhorse automatics.
The Falcon has always been offered with a chopper system. Now all Workhorse automatics are available with industry-standard squeegees and flood bars.

“At Workhorse, we still firmly believe that the V squeegee is the most efficient system available; however, we recognize that some screen printers prefer a chopper type system. To better serve our customers, they can now choose which squeegee system they prefer when purchasing a Freedom or a Javelin,” says Tyler Dummett, president.
