BROOKFIELD, WI – May 10, 2018 – Colordyne Technologies welcomes Judson (Judd) Quimby to its sales team as executive account manager. Bringing 31 years of industry experience, Quimby will be responsible for expanding business relationships and product sales with an emphasis on Colordyne’s mid-range and production class solutions.

Quimby previously held the position of vice president of business development and global sales at Colordyne’s partner company, Memjet. During that time, he served as Colordyne’s account manager, working closely with the company on its business strategies and scalable product portfolio.

"Colordyne has been manufacturing and selling digital color printers for over seven years, and they have become the industry experts in designing, building and supporting digital color inkjet print solutions," said Quimby.

Quimby understands the value of digital print in today’s rapidly changing market, where brands and converters are looking for solutions to meet their demands for short run production. Helping businesses successfully incorporate digital print into their operations and meeting their digital objectives, like improving changeover times and reducing costs associated with short run production, are two of Quimby’s main goals in his new role. He chose to join Colordyne because he can achieve these objectives through the company’s range of product offerings that address specific consumer needs in the market.

"Colordyne is the only company to provide a full suite of scalable digital color printers, from economical benchtops to complete in-line digital presses," said Quimby. "Plus, they have developed unique and cost-effective designs, like the 3600 Series Retrofit, making it easier and more affordable than ever for companies to incorporate digital print into their business."

In addition to offering solutions for different production volumes, Colordyne also offers solutions for different application needs with aqueous (AQ) and UV inkjet. The addition of UV inkjet technology, and other new product offerings, has increased Colordyne’s need for talented people.

"As Colordyne continues to develop new digital inkjet technology and expand into new markets, we need experienced professionals, like Quimby, with industry knowledge and leadership to guide our customers to the product that is right for their business," said Andy Matter, president of Colordyne Technologies. "Quimby has previously been a strategic and valuable partner of ours, and we are truly excited to see where he will take us in the future."

As Executive Account Manager, Quimby plans to expand the digital printing marketplace with Colordyne’s AQ and UV technologies and help continue to build its position as an industry leader of inkjet color printing solutions.
