Cladan Corp.’s new CLA-300 is designed for electronics screen printers who need a turnkey system that supports continuous web handling. Cladan says the CLA-300’s proprietary cylindrical platen improves resolution, reduces distortion, and extends screen life. The system is self-contained in an environmentally controlled cabinet and accepts films, ceramic tape, and foils. It continuously prints, dries, and rewinds with interleave materials to facilitate high-volume manufacturing, and Cladan notes that the system can process a 7 x 7-in. (178 x 178-mm) print every five seconds. The CLA-300 comes standard with touchscreen controls. A video inspection system is optional.
