Ryonet has announced the FX CTS LED exposure unit, designed for use on screens that have been imaged with a computer-to-screen system. The FX CTS unit is constructed with slide rails and a protective lid, rather than traditional glass, which may stick to wax or pigment leftover from CTS imaging. The unit’s design takes advantage of film-free CTS imaging and allows for faster exposure times (approximately 10 sec with a photopolymer emulsion).
