Speed, power, and precision are a few of the traits that GCC says the Puma III brings to the company’s family of cutting plotters. The Puma III features DC servo motor technology, cutting speeds up to 29.5 in./sec (749 mm/sec), cutting force up to 400 g, and more. The machine is equipped with GCC’s AAS II (Accu-Aligning-System), which detects the registration marks on digitally printed images. Other featured include a multi-language control panel and connectivity via USB, serial, and parallel ports. The Puma III is available in PIII-60 and PIII-132S models, with maximum cutting widths up to 23.23 in. (590 mm) and 51.18 in. (1300 mm), respectively. The PIII-60 processes media up to 28.3 in. (719 mm) wide via two pinch rollers, and the PIII-132S accepts media up to 57.87 in. (1470 mm) wide via four pinch rollers.
