The Fineprint cylinder screen-printing is a new offering from Spartanics-Systec that’s designed to offer fast throughput and high-quality output. Suitable applications include RFID labels, flexible circuitry, luminescent panels for medical and automotive products, lightweight airplane-cabin-interior panels, flexible solar panels, textile transfers, and more. Features include electronic controls for material-thickness adjustments, support for substrates as thin as 12 microns, electronic adjustments to compensate for material stretch or shrinkage, fine adjustment of vaccum control on cylinders, and capability to store up to 2500 separate jobs. Other features include positioning of web material within ±0.004 in. (±0.1 mm), direct servo drives, electronic screen-to-cylinder position controls, web-guiding system, adjustable print speed and printing length, and spacing between prints as little as 0.04 in. (1 mm). The system’s modular design allows users to add multiple presses, diecutters, laminators, slitting and sheeting systems, and more.
