International Coatings Co. (www.iccink.com) reformulated its 3820 Direct Print Flock Adhesive for garment-printing applications. The one-part system is phthalate-free, press-ready, and can be used on cotton and cotton/poly blends. ICC says 3820 has a short body to support a thick ink deposit for flocking and notes that it provides excellent adhesion to most flock fibers and cures to a soft, elastic, and pliable print.
