 SGIA’s 2012 Benchmarking Report Finds that 45% of Garment Decorators in the survey have a Direct-to-Garment inkjet printer.  According to SGIA’s 2012 Direct-to-Garment Inkjet Technology Benchmarking Report, the primary reason companies decided to purchase DTG inkjet technology was to access low-volume/short-run/short-turn opportunities. The report also said that:

 SGIA’s 2012 Benchmarking Report Finds that 45% of Garment Decorators in the survey have a Direct-to-Garment inkjet printer.  According to SGIA’s 2012 Direct-to-Garment Inkjet Technology Benchmarking Report, the primary reason companies decided to purchase DTG inkjet technology was to access low-volume/short-run/short-turn opportunities. The report also said that:

• 44.5 percent currently own a DTG printer while 55.5 percent don’t
• Two-thirds of companies with a DTG printer have white ink capability
• 77 percent use their DTG printer for new and existing customer
