The InDecs 620UV is the latest offering from Trans Tech On-Demand, which offers digital decorating solutions for industrial products. The InDecs UV is a flatbed printer equipped with a six-fluid inkjet print engine that produces graphics up to 1200 dpi in a 36 x 42-in. (914 x 1067-mm) print area. The printer uses the ColorBond UV inkset, which reportedly allows the InDecs to provide exceptional color and excellent adhesion to many rigid substrates, including most plastics, metal, and glass. The InDecs can be paired with Trans Tech automation modules such as slide tables and pass-through conveyors for flexibility in production operations. Trans Tech also has created the QuickFix tooling system, designed for rapid changeover of part-holding fixtures on the printer bed. Trans Tech says its digital products are built specifically to meet the challenging needs of the industrial-product-decorating market. ITW Trans Tech, 475 N.
