Océ’s CS9065 inkjet printer features dual-ink capability, which gives users the flexibility to select either low-solvent or eco-solvent inks. The CS9065 is 65 in. (1651 mm) wide and offers 720-dpi resolution at speeds up to 140 sq ft/hr (13.0 sq m/hr) in production (four-pass mode), 360 x 720-dpi resolution at speeds up to 245 sq ft/hr (22.8 sq m/hr) in high-speed (two-pass) mode, and 360 x 360-dpi resolution at speeds up to 452 sq ft/hr (41.9 sq m/hr) in top print speed mode. The printer is suitable for short-run jobs such as P-O-P displays, vehicle graphics, transit advertising, exhibit graphics, banners, museum graphics, way-finding signage, and window displays. The low-solvent inks offer outdoor durability up to three years. An optional air-purification system is available for use with low-solvent inks. Océ says the eco-solvent inks do not require the use of an air-purification system. Users can choose from a range of coated and uncoated media designed for use in select indoor and short- to mid-term outdoor applications. The CS9065 uses Océ’s VariaDot imaging technology to produce dots with variable sizes. The printer also is equipped with a motorized winder and unwind unit that accommodates the use of bulk media rolls up to 200 lb and a self-maintenance system on board.
