LexJet now offers dye-based ink for HP 5000/5500 inkjet printers. LexJet says the ink will come packaged in familiar refurbished HP cartridges, and LexJet will warrant the ink to be of such quality so as to not interfere with any HP warranty covering the HP 5000/5500 printers. The company says LexJet Dye inks are identical in ICC profile to the HP 5000 and 5500 inks. Therefore, customers will not have to change their current ICC profiles to use the LexJet Dye ink. LexJet describes its new ink as dead-on color replacement dye ink featuring Mix/Match and Go, which eliminates the need for ink-line or system purging. The ink is compatible with any media that is 100% compatible with HP 5000 and 5500 dye inks. LexJet offers its Dye ink in six colors, individually or in complete sets.
