Prior to the Long Beach Imprinted Sportswear Show in January, Epson America hosted an open house for distributors at the new Epson Technology Center in its nearby Carson, California facility. The center, opened last September, showcases Epson’s complete wide-format portfolio, including dye sublimation, signage, photography, digital proofing, and DTG printers, as well as the range of applications that can be addressed using the systems.

Epson hosts customers in the center year-round where they can engage with product experts to discuss their specific needs, see a wide range of creative applications, and run test prints using their own files. The company has also opened four Epson Certified Solution Centers at key dealer locations, with plans to open more later this year.

Approximately 40 dealers of Epson’s professional imaging products participated in the January open house. In addition to touring the center, attendees were also given glimpses into other activities that take place in the 338,000-square-foot facility, including the company’s manufacturing automation robots and color labeling systems.
