Exopack Advanced Coatings and five other Sun Capital Partner manufacturing companies – Exopack, Britton Group, Kobusch, PACCOR, and Paragon Print & Packaging – have joined together to create one company identity under the name Coveris. Coveris Advanced Coatings is a manufacturer and distributor of precision coated papers, films, and specialty substrates for imaging, electronics, medical, optical, and security technologies.

Coveris has implemented a new organizational structure to optimize delivery of service to global customers and enhance the company’s investment in world-class technologies and people, according to its press release.

“This new global dimension opens the door to opportunities for Coveris Advanced Coatings that will add value to our products and businesses,” says Ed McCarron, vice president of digital imaging at Coveris Advanced Coatings. “Please be aware that this name change will not affect our current Magic product offerings or distribution channel.”

Coveris Advanced Coatings has two ISO-certified manufacturing facilities in Europe and the USA, both having multiple coating lines, cleanrooms, and laboratories. The company manages 64 plants across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and China, including an ISO-certified converting and distribution center in China.
