Roland DGA expanded its line of media offerings with the addition of Solvent Satin Canvas and Solvent Glass Canvas. The products are specially coated for performance with Roland’s ECO-SOL MAX eco-solvent ink, and are said to allow Roland VersaCAMM and SOLJET inkjet printers and printer/cutters to produce wide-format photographic and fine-art reproductions, art décor, and murals with outstanding color gamut and image quality. The canvas products reportedly offer an excellent white point for superior color brilliance and image definition and can be stretched without cracking. No lamination, overcoat, or other treatment is required. The products consist of a white 65% polyester/35% cotton blend and are available in rolls widths of 30, 54, and 60 in.
