Océ’s Arizona family of flatbed inkjet printers just added a member with the new 350 XT, a unit Océ says is built with a dramatically enlarged flatbed table to facilitate continuous imaging on rigid media up to 49.2 x 98.4 in. (1250 x 2500 mm). Two rigid boards of this size can be mounted on separate vacuum areas of the flatbed table. While one board is being printed, the other can be changed by the operator. Therefore, the printer never has to stop printing for a media change. A roll-media option enables printing onto flexible media up to 87 in. (2210 mm) wide. Océ says the media roll can be unloaded at any time without interrupting rigid printing and that no downtime is required to reconfigure the system to change from one print mode to the other. It uses a CMYK inkset, and a white option is available. Océ, 100 Oakview Dr., Trumbull, CT 06611, 773-714-8500, Web: www.oce.com.
