FLEXcon, an innovator in adhesive coating and laminating, today announced renewed Platinum sponsorship of the Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP).
In support of sustainable printing, FLEXcon is supporting SGP with the highest level of sponsorship available. SGP’s mission is to encourage and promote participation in the worldwide movement to reduce environmental impact, and increase social responsibility of the graphic communications industry. FLEXcon participated in the second annual SGP Community Gathering at the Ritz Carlton, Downtown Atlanta. The event brought together buyers, printers and suppliers within the print industry to discuss, debate and learn about sustainability trends.

"We understand the importance of supporting third party certification organizations like SGP as they provide a platform for developing standards and sharing best practices that can impact not only our product development, but the entire graphics communications industry," said Jodi Sawyer, Market Development Specialist for FLEXcon’s Product Branding business team.

FLEXcon, which is also a L.I.F.E certified and ISO 9001:2008 manufacturer, is dedicated to conducting business with integrity by delivering more sustainable products, and creating an environment that is safe and healthy for employees and the community.
