The new G-PREP 370 from Grünig jets water at high pressure to remove adhesives from a frame’s surface. The machine is enclosed in a stainless-steel cleaning chamber and is equipped with UHP (ultra-high-pressure) nozzles that operate at 24,600 psi. Sefar says the machine provides a standardized and consistent cleaning process that keeps frame surfaces in optimum condition and helps extend the life of the screens in production. The G-PREP 370 also reportedly reduces the amount of dust, solvent emissions, and noise associated with the frame-cleaning process. The machine measures 48 x 87 in. (1219 x 2210 mm) and can remove adhesive from screens up to 55 in. wide x 39 in. tall (1397 x 991 mm). Sefar Printing Solutions, Inc., 120 Mt.
