Fujifilm (www.fujifilm.com) has announced the launch of a thermoformable UV inkjet ink, Uvijet KV, for use in light industrial applications. According to the company, the ink is designed to be extremely flexible with the ability to heat and cool without cracking or flaking. It features elongation properties of 300 to 400% when heated. Uvijet KV is designed for use with Fujifilm’s mid-range flatbed inkjet printers, the Acuity Advance Select and Acuity Advance Select HS, and can be used in conjunction with Fujfilm’s Omniplus UL, a UV white screen-printing ink.
