Kornit Digital has announced the appointment of Gabi Seligsohn as the chief executive officer of the company. Ofer Ben-Zur, Kornit’s founder, will remain the president and CTO of the company.

Seligsohn joins Kornit from Nova Measuring Instruments, where he served as the president and CEO until August 2013. Prior to becoming Nova’s CEO, Seligsohn served in several positions at Nova, including EVP, Global Business Management Group, president of Nova’s US subsidiary, and VP, Strategic Business Development. Seligsohn joined Nova after serving as a sales manager for key financial accounts at Digital Equipment Corporation.

“Over the last several years, Kornit has been revolutionizing the textile printing industry by leading the transformation from silk screen printing to digital,” says Yuval Cohen, chairman of the Board of Directors of Kornit. “As founder and CEO of Kornit, Ofer did a fantastic job, taking his initial idea from concept to what has become a global company, with multiple products, leading-edge technology, and a strong and innovative team.

"I have all the confidence that Gabi, together with Ofer and the rest of the management team, will continue to further enhance the company’s growth rate and profitability well into the future. Gabi’s track record in successfully driving growth through strategic initiatives will be extremely valuable, as we seek to further enhance Kornit’s market position in the emerging digital printing market for textiles.”
