Azon’s MicroTex White is a garment inkjet printer that supports imaging resolutions up to 2880 x 1440 dpi. It offers a maximum imaging area of 18.5 x 12 in (470 x 305 mm) and uses a five-color inkset (CMYK + white). Azon specifies the use of a precoating formulation and heat press prior to printing. The MicroTex prints the white layer first and finishes with either CMYK alone or CMYK + white. The printer has parallel, USB, and IEEE1394 interfaces.
