Published

on

GCC recently announced that it won the 2008 Outstanding Photonics Product Award, presented by the Photonics Industry & Technology Development Association (PIDA), for its GCC LaserPro S290, a large-working-table metal-marking system. GCC says it developed and produced the key component—the DPSS (Diode Pumped Solid State) laser tube for the LaserPro S290, which it reports yields spectacular marking results and excellent output quality.

LaserPro S290 also incorporates Drag-N-Engrave, designed to greatly reduces complex setup tasks and allow users to directly drag the lens carriage to the desired starting point of a job, and Auto Power Compensation, engineered to ensure consistent power stability. LaserPro 290 features a 29 x 18-in. working area.
