Lawon says its Speed-Star screen press can print faster than any flatbed system—up to 2000 impressions/hr. Its configuration allows the operator to line up the next sheet as the machine prints, and the press’s cylinder system places the substrate directly on the belt of a curing unit without any extra attachments. Speed-Star offers edge-to-edge printing and supports media up to 0.5 in. (12.7 mm) thick. Standard print areas are 18 x 24, 18 x 30, and 24 x 30 in. (457 x 610, 457 x 762, 610 762 mm), and maximum media sizes are 20 x 30 in. (508 x 762 mm) or 20 x 36 and 26 x 36 in. (508 x 914 and 660 x 914 mm), respectively, by special order.
