Hartman Plastics, Honeybrook, PA, manufacturer of HartBoard foam-centered boards, celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Since its opening in 1985, Hartman has extruded plastics and produced the foam-centered boards that are now sold throughout the US, Europe, Middle East, and South America. The polystyrene rollstock was initially produced for thermoforming. Today, most foam board is used in house for the production of HartBoard foamboards. Hartman has outgrown its facilities twice in the past two decades and currently operates in a 60,000-sq-ft facility with an adjacent ten acres.
