Printa designed its new 550 series Tunnel heat press with a sliding platen that the company says completely protects the operator from exposure to high-temperature emissions and reduces the physical motion required to load garments. A 16 x 16-in. (406 x 406-mm) platen slides in and out of a tunnel, and the press also offers digital time and temperature controls. Pressure is set manually. The Tunnel can be used to heat-set products up to 1 in. (25.4 mm) thick, including shirts, mouse pads, award plaques, note pads, and more.
