The four-color printer produces images at resolutions up to 1440 dpi at speeds ranging from 430-1291 sq ft/hr (40-120 sq m/hr). Variable-dropsizes range from 6-42 picolitres and allow users to select the appropriate resolution for each job, from 360-1440 dpi. INX Digital Triangle UV-curable inks are formulated specifically for use with Xaar 1001 printheads. Neolt says the inks enable the X-Jet to produce smooth-tone graphics, fine details, and sharp text.
