IKONICS Imaging, Duluth, MN, a division of the IKONICS Corp. and parent of the PhotoBrasive Systems brand, announces the first IKONAwards—IKONMetal Design contest. The contest is designed to spotlight IKONMetal, the company’s metal-matrix substrate. IKONMetal is suitable for use in producing metal awards, signs, and plaques.

Contest finalists will be selected on the basis of design originality, creative use of IKONMetal, and overall design. Top finalists will receive a cash prize, including the first-place prize of $1000. Finalists also will receive international recognition at the ARA show, which takes place Feb. 23, 2007 in Las Vegas, NV.
