The screen-printing industry was recently saddened by the loss of John Kenneth Lamb, founder of Cincinnati Sign Supplies, Inc., Cincinnati, OH. He passed away on Dec. 2, 2006. Lamb is survived by wife Susan Lamb (nee Webster), grandchildren David Lamb and Jessica Lamb, and great-grandchildren Catherine Cosette Lamb, John David Lamb, and Parker Alason Lamb. He is also survived by stepson Michael Douglas Millikin, daughter-in-law Marilyn Lamb, niece Coralinda (Gilbert) Lincoln, great nephew and niece Matthew and Piper Lincoln.

Lt. Colonel John K. Lamb volunteered for duty in the Army Air Corps the day after the attack on Pearl Harbor, WWII. He served in the Classified Message Center as Top Secret Control Officer, Chief of Organization and Planning, Central Pacific Headquarters, Guam. Lamb founded Cincinnati Sign Supplies, Inc. in 1946. He was also a member of the Society of the Cincinnati, Colonel Wars Society, Military Order of World Wars, First Families of Virginia, Queen City Club, and Clan Lamont (Scotland).
