ISA and InfoTrends have collaborated on a new white paper exploring the trends, opportunities, and challenges in wide-format print. The report suggests that print volumes for wide-format production graphics in North America will expand at a CAGR of 13 percent, totaling more than 9 billion square feet by 2020. The authors point to a number of factors for this steady industry improvement, including sizeable growth in both sales and capabilities of non-solvent inkjet printers; the advent of new applications from DTG and promotional products to soft signage and décor; and continued research and development in the areas of packaging and single-pass printing.
