Vastex recently announced improvements to its 30- and 50-in. (762- and 1270-mm) EconoRed infrared conveyor dryers. These models now feature Vastex’s X-Series belt-drive system, which is already available on the company’s DB-18, DB-30, and EconoRed I models. Vastex says it redesigned the X-Series system, which consists of a conveyor bed, belt, and drive, to be more heavy duty, more dependable, and easier to use. The belt-tracking system is now accessible with the turn of one bolt on either side of the conveyor, and new safety features have been incorporated in the drive system’s chain guard.
