Inkcups Now has introduced a new rotary inkjet printer, Helix, for cylindrical printing. Helix features a quick-change tooling fixture for printing to both straight-walled and tapered cylindricals across the beverage, cosmetic, and industrial markets. The printer reportedly adjusts automatically to cylinder height and diameter; it is compatible with cylinder diameters ranging from 2 to 4.5 in. and lengths from 3 to 12 in. (Max. print length is 4.25 in.) Helix prints up to 1200 x 1200 dpi with droplets as small as 7 pL.
