Institute for Printing Expands Premises

Specialist in digital printing (inkjet), the Institute for printing (iPrint) announces the expansion to new premises. In its second move in two years, the iPrint Institute has outgrown the incubation space at blueFACTORY and has moved into 1200 m2 of lab space at the Marly Innovation Center.

The iPrint Institute now has a commanding position in industry led applied research and training in the field of inkjet. Not limited to graphical printing, the iPrint Institute also leads projects in the functional print areas of additive manufacturing, biomedical and printed electronics.

The new premises now house some €4 million of dedicated printer platforms and high value laboratory analytical equipment. The 25 permanent staff are augmented by several students studying for their master theses.

Within the new facilities is a permanent Inkjet Training Center offering courses to participants from a wide range of markets and industrial sectors.

Now planning for the 8th open course in June 2017, the iPrint Institute has now trained over 100 people.
