InteliCoat Technologies, South Hadley, MA, received ISO certification to the 14001:1996 environmental management system standards for its facility in South Hadley. The certification covers the facility’s environmental procedures, processes, planning activities, and continual improvement programs in environmental management. Prior to becoming certified, the facility went through a series of inspections and audits conducted by the independent auditors from Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc. “InteliCoat is committed to continual improvement of our environmental performance to minimize our impact on the environment and the local community,” says InteliCoat facility manager Joe Sgambati. “Achieving ISO 14001 certification demonstrates our long-term commitment to providing exceptional products and services while recognizing and taking into consideration the environmental impacts of our operation.”
