A.W.T. says it has found another way to make its UV dryers more efficient and economical, with the Inteli-Guard interlocking system. Operators can synchronize power settings between their A.W.T. printers and UV dryers, reducing output power of the UV system to standby mode when printing pauses. The Inteli-Guard system then immediately returns the dryer to full power when printing resumes. A.W.T. says the technology cuts energy costs and extends dryer life.
