International Coatings Celebrates 60 Years

International Coatings, founded in 1957, celebrates its diamond anniversary this year. The company was launched by Herbert Wells, a chemist who had helped engineer Elmer’s Glue. He began by making custom industrial plastic and adhesive compounds, and the company has since expanded to offer textile screen printing inks, vinyl and urethane plastics, specialty coatings and adhesives, and traffic paint.
