International Coatings To Feature Art of David Edward Byrd and Jolino Beserra At Impression Expo 2020

International Coatings is excited to exclusively debut at the upcoming Impressions Expo Long Beach 2020 a new set of prints with iconic artwork by David Edward Byrd and mosaic artist Jolino Beserra. The Expo runs from Jan 17 – 19, 2020.

Mr. Byrd is best known for immortalizing legendary musicians including Jimi Hendrix, David Bowie, Prince, and Janice Joplin. His concert posters are now icons of the golden age of rock and roll, and are instantly recognizable. Prints of Mr. Byrd’s art will be on display at International Coatings’ booth (#949).

International Coatings is using its revolutionary AXEON Non-PVC inks to capture the detail and vitality of several of Mr. Byrds’ and Mr. Beserra’s artworks. International Coatings’ special effects inks accent the images – high density, glitter and our new FX Gel Gloss Clear™.

International Coatings will host a Meet & Greet with Mr. Byrd and Mr. Beserra on Friday, January 17th and Saturday, January 18th at the booth, from 10:30 am to noon and 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm. Mr. Beserra will unveil his latest work, a contemporary mosaic piece specially commissioned by International Coatings. The piece is slated to benefit two animal rescue centers he is supporting – Pet Finder and Flying Fur Animal Rescue. Make a donation and get a T-shirt with a print of the design signed by the artist.

About David Edward Byrd
Mr. Byrd’s poster designs for Bill Graham’s Fillmore East, Woodstock, and various Broadway shows and other events are legendary. His artwork is displayed in several Museums – including the Louvre. Among his many accomplishments, Mr. Byrd served as Senior Illustrator for Warner Brothers Creative Services where he created illustration style guides for Looney Tunes, Harry Potter and other notable features. Mr. Beserra, a graduate of Art Center College of Design, left a lucrative career in entertainment industry advertising to create Byrd/Beserra Studios with Mr. Byrd.
