Having over thirty-three years experience in the industry, Kanis is one of the most tenured individuals in the flexible magnetics arena.

 

MagX, the global leader in high intensity flexible magnetics, today announces industry veteran John C. Kanis has been appointed President and CEO of MagX America. Having over thirty-three years experience in the industry, Kanis is one of the most tenured individuals in the flexible magnetics arena.

 

In his former position as Vice President and General Manager, Kanis catapulted MagX into one of the largest providers of printable magnetic products to the digital imaging, signage, promotional products and POP industries in the United States. Kanis will continue his oversight of all MagX operations in North, Central and South America including its three U.S. facilities located in California, Georgia and Ohio. In addition to its operations in the United States, MagX has manufacturing and distribution facilities in Japan, Vietnam, Europe and China.

The appointment comes as MagX celebrates its fiftieth anniversary year. MagX developed the first flexible magnetic sheeting in 1965 and today continues to be the global leader in flexible magnetic technology.

 

Flexible magnets in their simplest form are commonly found in most every household as advertising specialty refrigerator magnets. Other applications include signage, automotive and industrial components. MagX has revenues exceeding $100 million annually.
