Kornit Digital has released two new direct-to-garment printers for medium-sized apparel decorators: Storm 1000 and Storm Hexa. Engineered with twice the number of nozzles as previous Kornit models, the printers offer up to 40% higher productivity, according to the company. The pair also features a recirculating ink system to reduce ink consumption and optimize reliability.

Kornit Digital has released two new direct-to-garment printers for medium-sized apparel decorators: Storm 1000 and Storm Hexa. Engineered with twice the number of nozzles as previous Kornit models, the printers offer up to 40% higher productivity, according to the company. The pair also features a recirculating ink system to reduce ink consumption and optimize reliability.

The Storm 1000 offers 12 printheads with a CMYK + white configuration while the Storm Hexa offers 16 heads and additional red and green inks. Both machines can reach print speeds up to 170 garments/hr (including pretreatment) with a max. print area of 20 x 28 in.

Additional features include quick-replace pallets, 4-L bulk ink delivery, integrated humidity system, and backup power. Both machines are compatible with cotton, polyester, blends, denim, silk, wool, and more.
