Universal Laser Systems launched its VersaLASER platform series, which includes the VLS3.60, VLS4.60, and VLS6.60 models. ULS says the laser systems are designed to process multiple materials and diverse applications with speed, accuracy, and fine detail. The lasers offer up to 60 watts of power and a work area of 32 x 18 in. (813 x 457 mm) and use ULS’s Rapid Reconfiguration technology, which allows users to change laser power within seconds and without tools. “Our systems are designed with seamless integration of Universal’s CO2  laser, laser system, and advanced Laser Interface materials-based Windows print driver that optimizes the customer’s workflow process, improves operation efficiencies, and expands customized application offerings,” says Michael Flanary, chief operating officer for ULS.
